OPS member's lunch is complementary. 1 guest is allowed per member for a small $12 fee. The dinner is traditional Tex Mex. Attendees will have a choice of 4 entrees from a special menu. Tea, water, chips & salsa included with dinner.
Alcoholic drinks are not included. Members and guests must order and pay separately.
Members and guests should arrive around 11:30 am
and the El Fenix staff will begin taking orders about 12 noon.
Upon arrival, tell them you are with Outdoor Painters Society & you'll be directed to where we are gathering.
It is not mandatory, but it's our tradition that members bring an 8x10 painting (unframed) wrapped in plain brown paper. After lunch, the fun begins when we start a lively "Chinese Gift Game" with the "unidentified" paintings. This has been a long time traditional activity, and dozens of OPS members have quite a collection of originals as a result of participating in this game over the years.
Register early - seating is limited to 70 and we hope you can join us.
